LaTonya Turner

LaTonya Turner (she/her) is an Editor and Afternoon Host at WPLN News. Before joining the station, she had an accomplished career as an award-winning television journalist, documentary producer and TV host. Her work focusing on social history, healthcare and marginalized communities has won several regional Emmy awards and been recognized by the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), the National Educational Telecommunications Association (NETA), RTNDA and other professional and civic organizations. She is a member of NABJ and an officer in the Nashville chapter.
