Daniel Potter

Daniel Potter first started at Nashville Public Radio as an intern in 2008, and served for six years as an all-purpose reporter and occasional host. In 2014, he moved to California, where he freelanced for KQED Science in San Francisco, the Monterey Bay Aquarium and numerous others. In 2023, several of his episodes of the Bay Curious podcast appeared in the book of the same name. He’s also hosted and directed a podcast about bugs with the Natural History Museum of Utah. He returned to WPLN as a news editor in 2026.
