Morgan Returns to Nashville for Reconciliation

Comedian Tracy Morgan returns to Nashville Tuesday after an anti-gay rant that landed him in hot water first with advocacy groups and then NBC, which airs his show 30 Rock.

According to the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, Morgan will apologize to those he offended during his stand-up act earlier this month. While in Nashville, Morgan also plans to meet with the Tennessee Equality Project.

Jarrett Barrios of the Gay and Lesbian Alliance says in a state that continues to put anti-gay laws on the books, it’s more important than ever to show “homophobia has no place on or off stage.”
