Vanderbilt Hosts First Super Regional

The Vanderbilt Commodores find out tonight how much home field advantage might help in getting to college baseball’s world series.

The team has been on the road the only other two times it reached the NCAA tournament’s Super Regionals. Head coach Tim Corbin named hosting as a goal for the season and says he’d love to see a big crowd.

“I know we have a lot going on this weekend with music, but hopefully some people will be able to skip on by here later at night and see us play.”

Friday night Vanderbilt faces Oregon State, who won national titles in 2006 and 2007.
