Fallen Trees Continue to Cause Problems after Powerful Storms

Emergency management officials in Nashville estimate storms late yesterday downed 80 trees around Davidson County.

Fallen trees snarled traffic and continue to cause problems. Cheekwood Botanical Garden has opted to close Tuesday and re-open Wednesday.

National Weather Service officials will be out confirming tornado spottings, including one near Cool Springs in Williamson County. The Tennessee Emergency Management Agency is reporting 28 counties with some kind of damage.
