Flood Concerns Turn to Cumberland

After 24-hours of scattered flooding concentrated North and East of Nashville, concerns now turn to the Cumberland River.

The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning in Davidson County. The Cumberland is expected to crest right at flood stage around midnight and start falling. That will be about 12 feet shy of where the river crested in May. Still, emergency agencies are loading sandbags and assembling rescue teams in case the water continues to rise.
