Cleanup Begins Following Deadliest Storms in 75 Years

Listen Now:

The clean-up following deadly tornadoes that cut across Tennessee Tuesday night continues today. Most of yesterday was spent assessing the damage, and there was plenty to see. Storms cut a 140-mile path across the state from Southwest to Northeast. At least 31 of the fatalities have been confirmed in the state. Weather experts are calling it the deadliest system to hit middle Tennessee in 75-years. The epicenter appears to be Macon County where at least 13 fatalities have been confirmed. WPLN’s Blake Farmer reports.
